Fauna inside my flesh

I walked into a maelstrom of emotions 

With 1000 butterflies riding on my tired shoulders

And hurricane wrapped inside my velvet heart

Holding a beast and a host of angels inside

Losing my mind over an insanely beautiful mystery

Mad like a restless wolf in the wild 

Reckless, untameable and scary

Performing cartwheels in my honour

Ready to bear a greater agony than love

By summoning a parliament of owls

To decode the mystery of full moon, stardust, my laughter & vengeance 

Finding exact moment when I attended the funeral of my grief.

And bargained for incoherent joy 

Breakfree

I could never run away even if i wanted to,

I’d always come back crawling 

To the same coffee table

For a violent stab of utter loneliness 

But for once 

Wandering felt like a congregation of lost lifetimes.
